Assistant Producer – Loud Crow Interactive
Loud Crow Interactive (Vancouver, BC) is an award-winning publisher of high quality interactive digital children’s content. We work with blockbuster brands, such as Peanuts, Sandra Boynton, Marvel, and HarperCollins to bring compelling content to mobile platforms like iOS and Android.
Our apps have been featured by major media outlets and earned countless honours including iTunes Hall of Fame, App of the Week (x5), Top Grossing App, #2 Paid App, Amazon’s Free App of the Day, Best App Ever (Children’s Category), and 2010 Top Children’s App of the Year.
We’re looking for an Assistant Producer to drive our QA and production processes to ensure we continue to launch the highest quality products into the market. If you’re a talented project manager with a background in QA and the motivation to work in a start-up environment, then this will be the perfect position for you!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing and executing regression and product launch test plans
- Developing a sustainable long term QA test strategy to ensure the quality of our back catalog and new apps in development
- Creating product development plans and driving multiple production processes concurrently to launch the highest quality apps into the market on time
- Managing relationships with publishing partners, external vendors, contractors, and talent
- Budget management and tracking
- Contributing creatively to brainstorming and product design discussions
- Developing high-level feature briefs and detailed design documents
Qualifications
- Effective knowledge of common project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Agile, JIRA, etc.)
- Must be a strong leader able to thrive in the face of uncertainty
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and wear multiple hats
- Experience in QA and video game development a huge plus

We are looking for an Assistant Interactive Designer to craft innovative interactive content and user experiences. If you’re a graphic designer with strong collaboration skills who loves apps, and has the drive and motivation to succeed in a start-up environment, then this will be the perfect position for you!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creative process of designing and building award-winning digital book apps with highly talented interactive media professionals
- Preparing design documents and art assets in preproduction
- Working with our proprietary pipeline and tools to build content in production
- Preparing assets for marketing and web campaigns
- Providing direction for external vendors and reviewing deliverables
Qualifications
- Passion for interactive media and building innovative user experiences
- Exceptional creative thinker with a strong ability to be effective in a highly collaborative environment
- Strong ability to multitask, wear multiple hats, and deal with uncertainty
- Must be highly skilled with Adobe CS5
- Experience and knowledge in web design/development is a plus
- Experience in interactive media, and/or video games is preferred
